The Client

The Buffalo Health Science Center Chapter of United University Professions (UUP) represents academic and professional employees across the University at Buffalo’s health-focused schools, including Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health. As the union advocating for fair working conditions, strong benefits, and a better UB for all, the chapter plays an essential role in informing, supporting, and activating its members.

With a broad base of faculty and staff to serve, the chapter needed a high-quality website that could present resources clearly, highlight important updates, and offer simple ways for members to get involved. Their goal was a modern, organized, easy-to-manage site that reflects the professionalism and impact of their work.

Challenges & Goals

The project began with a clear vision: create a refreshed digital experience that supports communication, strengthens engagement, and makes important information easier to find. To achieve this, we identified several key objectives:
